ECOVE Builds Photovoltaic Power Facilities at Kaohsiung Port & Da-Lin Plant

With its main focus on resource cycling, ECOVE has continuously increased efficiency across Energy-from-Waste, Photovoltaic power, and recycling plants. In the first quarter of 2019, ECOVE has completed Da-Lin and Kaohsiung Port photovoltaic projects generating 2.9 million kWh power and cutting down about 1,600 metric tons of carbon emission yearly, which can help relieve the voltage used during peak hours and make a contribution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

ECOVE Solar Energy Corporation possesses extensive experience of investment, development, construction, and operation of Photovoltaic power plants in Taiwan as well as overseas markets. It completed photovoltaic power constructions at Da-Lin Plant on Jan. 19. The power facilities could generate approximately 0.7 million kWh green power which could supply for 150 households yearly and cut down 350 metric tons of carbon emission annually, equivalent to the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed by one Da'an Parks in Taipei.

In addition, ECOVE Solar Energy Corporation punctually completed photovoltaic power constructions at Kaohsiung Port (No.3 & No.4 Container). The facilities could generate approximately 22 million kWh green power which could supply for 520 households yearly and cut down 1,250 metric tons of carbon emission annually, equivalent to the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed by three Da'an Parks in Taipei.

The above-mentioned ECOVE Kaohsiung project has entered the third phase and been honored with the " Special Award of 2017 Photovoltaic Intelligent Building Certificate" and the "Golden Boat Award " from the Kaohsiung City Gov't and Kaohsiung Port Company.

Based on the development of policy, the Taiwan market will continue to grow rapidly in the next few years. ECOVE has long been engaged in cooperation with local governments and major public transportation institutions, such as Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation, Taoyuan Metro Corporation, Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation, Taiwan High Speed Rail Company, Taipei Water Supply Office, Chiayi County Gov't, Tainan Municipal Gov't, Hualien County Gov't and Civil Aviation Administration of the Ministry of Communication and Aviation, to develop investment in Photovoltaic power system. With the abundant experience, ECOVE will continue to support renewable energy projects with actions to achieve the goal in sustainable energy development and establish a new model for power industry in green energy construction in Taiwan.
