ECOVE is pleased to announce that it has been recognized by multiple occupational safety and health awards for outstanding operation and maintenance performance of Energy-from-Waste plants. The EfW plants in Keelung and Tainan and Chun-Hsien Chang, Chief Engineer at the Keelung Plant, have won the “Excellent Unit Award” and “Personnel Award for Occupational Safety and Health” by the Ministry of Labor, respectively. Besides, the Southern Taiwan Science Park Plant received the “Southern Taiwan Science Park Excellent Unit Award for Occupational Safety and Health” by National Science and Technology Council.

As a people-oriented company, ECOVE is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy working environment for employees and actively promotes a “safety first” corporate culture. To continuously improve occupational safety and health management and create a zero occupational disaster work environment, the company implements the circular management spirit of PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) to review and improve various occupational safety and health management actions from different aspects, including its structure and management. ECOVE also encourages employees to participate in making decisions related to occupational safety and deficiency improvements. The company establishes the Occupational Safety and Health Committee consisting of employees and employers to jointly stipulate occupational safety and health performance indicators according to onsite safety and health management needs, in order to enhance the management of safety and health in each part of the process and reach the goals of “zero work safety issues” and “zero occupational disasters.”
