ECOVE Once Again Selected for the 2026 S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook

As the global sustainability transition accelerates, ECOVE Environment Corp., with its solid sustainability governance and continuous expansion of circular economy strategy, has once again been recognized in 2026 by international sustainability rating agency S&P Global. The Company has been selected as a member of the Sustainability Yearbook 2026, making it the only company in Taiwan’s environmental services sector to receive this distinction.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is one of the world's most authoritative ESG assessments. It evaluates companies' sustainability performance in Environmental (E), Social (S), and Governance (G) based on their Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) scores in the previous year. This year, over 9,200 companies across 59 industries were assessed, with fewer than 10% selected for inclusion. Standing out amid such intense international competition, ECOVE’s achievement underscores the results of its long-term commitment to sustainability governance and operational management.

In terms of governance, ECOVE has embedded the core principles of sustainable development into its corporate governance framework, fully incorporating key performance indicators such as carbon reduction, emissions reduction, and energy efficiency improvements into its environmental management system. Through structured management practices and continuous improvement mechanisms, it has systematically reduced the intensity of greenhouse gas and pollutant emissions while delivering low-carbon, low-pollution professional environmental services. These initiatives not only strengthen its operational resilience but also represent concrete action in addressing global climate change.

In terms of environmental management, ECOVE has introduced a biodiversity-sensitive area analysis tool to assess the potential impact of its operating sites on the surrounding environment. It also promotes biodiversity protection and zero-deforestation policies to prevent ecological degradation resulting from its operational activities, reduce impact on local ecosystems, and actively advance toward the goal of harmonious coexistence with nature.

In terms of social impact, ECOVE continues to leverage its core business strengths to deepen education for sustainable development. For example, six of its energy resources centers (Energy-from-Waste plants) in Taiwan have obtained environmental education facility certification. Volunteers not only provided engaging and interactive environmental education programs that integrate the unique features of each site but also visited nearby elementary schools to deepen students' environmental awareness through a variety of curricula, thereby embedding sustainability concepts at an early stage. In the future, it will continue to develop innovative programs to provide communities with environmental education services that emphasize local characteristics and active participation.

Looking ahead, ECOVE will continue to enhance its sustainability performance by working closely with stakeholders to promote low-carbon transition and ecological conservation, thereby creating long-term shared value between the Company and the environment.
