To encourage private enterprises and organizations to take the initiative in responding to green procurement, Changhua County Magistrate Hui-Mei Wang recently publicly commended Outstanding Performers for the 2022 annual Outstanding Green Procurement Practice Award for Changhua County. ECOVE has been recognized for outstanding performance in supporting the County’s green initiatives, with its deep commitment to low-carbon sustainability.

As the largest environmental resource management company in Taiwan, ECOVE is committed to implementing green management within the company to achieve energy saving and carbon reduction and to move toward the goal of low carbon sustainability. Since its founding, ECOVE has been actively cultivating local manufacturers. Besides localizing the incineration industry and reducing the reliance on external materials and technology, ECOVE is also working toward reducing carbon footprint in transportation. Measures taken include prioritizing eco-friendly products with the environmental protection label (green mark) and energy and water conservation label for green procurement.

In recent years, ECOVE has been requesting its contract suppliers and contractors to make social responsibility pledges. Working with the supply chain partners to fulfill social responsibility, ECOVE hopes to bring together internal and external forces to do its part to protect the environment and build a co-prosperous society through sustainable supply chain management.
